There are some much more scientific ways to increase your chances of having a girl, such as a gender sorting which can be done in a laboratory for a better chance of conceiving. Talk to your doctor about options such as this if you are trying to conceive and have your heart set on a baby girl.

There are many reasons that a couple might want to have a baby girl. They might not have many girls in their family, and they want to try to give their family the chance to grow up with more girls. They might have other little girls already and want to give them a sister to play with, or they might just want to experience the fun of buying dresses and bows, toting their kids to ballet camp and tea parties. Whatever the reason, there are many different things that couples can actually do to improve their chances of having a baby girl. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Know Your Days

Probably the most important tip for conceiving a baby (of either gender!) is to know when you are ovulating. Ovulation is a woman’s only fertile time during the month, and if you don’t have sex at the right time, chances are you are not going to be able to get pregnant at all. Make sure to keep an ovulation chart to know when you are ovulating. You can use an over the counter ovulation predictor kit to chart your ovulation and to know when your fertile days are. You can also use a smartphone app to help keep track of when you are most fertile. Another thing that you can do to improve your chances of knowing when you are ovulating is to chart your basal body temperature using a special thermometer to look for the temperature spike that accompanies ovulation. You can also learn how to check your cervix and pay attention to your cervical mucus to know when you are most likely to get pregnant.

Things To Remember

When it is time to try to conceive, there are a few things that you will want to remember if you want to conceive a girl. Experts say having sex 2.5 to 4 days before you are expected to ovulate will increase your chances of having a girl. This is because female sperm is bigger and are slower swimmers than boy sperm. You have to sort of give them a “head start” if you want to conceive a girl. Also, avoid having sex that allows for deep penetration. Experts say missionary sex is best for conceiving a girl. Eating foods that promote a more acidic vaginal environment, such as whole grains, meats, corn, berries, and green leafy veggies. It has also been suggested that it is better for a woman NOT to orgasm during sex when she is trying to conceive a girl, because a woman’s orgasm will make the vaginal environment more alkaline, and that is not what you want when you are conceiving a girl.

More To Know

It’s important to keep all of these things in mind if you are trying to conceive a girl. Of course, none of this is really a cut in stone fact about how to conceive a girl, so take all of this information with a grain of salt. There are some much more scientific, (and much more expensive!) ways to increase your chances of having a girl, such as a gender sorting and things like that which can be done in a laboratory for a better chance of conceiving. Talk to your doctor about options such as this if you are trying to conceive and have your heart set on a baby girl.
