Tori Spelling is coming out with all sorts of juicy secrets in her new book, “Spelling it Like It Is”, and one of the biggest confessions, in addition to the fact that she has a sex tape, and the fact that her family’s finances are suffering, was the fact that Tori says she lied about her baby weight loss after baby #4. After Finn Davey was born in August of 2012, Tori proudly posed on the cover of US Weekly in a purple bikini. She claimed that she lost the 45 pounds of baby weight by swimming, but the truth is very, very different. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here
Back in April during the photo shoot, this is the statement Tori gave to US Weekly:
‘My doctor suggested I try swimming. It’s good for the whole body and low-impact since you’re weightless. So I started doing that in our pool in January. I don’t count laps.
‘I’ll swim until I’m sore or play Marco Polo with the kids instead. I also started going on the elliptical and doing modified MMA. Besides my walks, I exercise three times a week for about an hour each time.”
Tori admits that her publicist pressured her to reveal that she lost the weight through exercise. She wanted to connect with women, and didn’t want them to hate her for not “working” to get the weight off.
Tori reveals in her book that she didn’t really exercise at all for months after Finn was born, and instead, dropped the weight by starving herself.
“I really don’t exercise much, period. So I took off my weight the old-fashioned way. I like to call it the Just Keep Your F–king Mouth Shut and Eat Air diet. It’s all the rage.” Tori revealed.
Tori says she nibbled on rice cakes and ate “soup and dinners that looked like they belonged in some health magazine” to get rid of the weight, and it worked.
“With my sedentary lifestyle, it was the only way and it worked,’ she says. ‘My clothes were starting to fit again.”
Tori reveals that she felt like she had no choice but to lie to her fans during the photo shoot. She said her publicist forced her to lie about how she lost the weight, and she didn’t want to alienate herself from her fans.
“My publicist had given me clear instructions about what to say about my weight loss,” she explains. “Women didn’t want to know that I had lost weight through dieting, not exercising. I didn’t want to be the a–hole who didn’t work for it. So I said that I swam. It was sort of a bad choice. I can’t do much more than a doggy paddle.”
Wow, what a revelation! It just makes you wonder how many of the other “Hollywood Supermoms” that we hear about lost their weight like this instead of the old fashioned way! What do you think about Tori Spelling’s weight loss revelation?
