The newest star to be run through the pregnancy rumor mill? None other than reality star/singer Tamar Braxton. Rumors have been swirling around Tamar and her hubby/manager Vince Herbert for awhile now, but they have been heating up recently after she and Vince appeared on “106 And Park” in a baggy gold jumpsuit, apparently hiding a “baby bump”. You see, Tamar is known for always wearing her figure hugging tight clothes, and seeing her in anything a little bit baggy definitely jumped up the baby rumors. But, after the rumors started to swirl, Tamar tweeted a picture of herself with her shirt raised, showing off her washboard abs, and definitely no trace of a baby bump in sight.
Oddly enough, however, the photo has been deleted, which seems strange, if she wanted to put the rumors to rest. We know Tamar, and she is never one for shying away from the spotlight, so it’s kind of hard to say.
Tamar rose to fame with her sisters in the early 1990’s as a part of the singing group The Braxtons. She continued to sing back up for sister Toni and pursue other singing and acting gigs after the group decided to part ways back in 1998.
In January 2011, she and her sisters, along with their mother, signed on to do a reality show called “Braxton Family Values” on WEtv. Tamar continued to grow her music career, and eventually was offered her own reality show with hubby Vince centering around her solo career and their married life. Their show “Tamar and Vince” has been a WEtv success. Tamar is now co-hosting (and causing drama) on Tameka Cottle’s late night BET talk show “Tiny Tonight”.
Tamar’s fame has been ever increasing since she released her single “Love and War” in December 2012. The single rose to the top of the iTunes charts, and Tamar is set the release her album of the same name sometime this month. We are so happy to see her continued success and would love to see her and Vince become parents if the time is right!
Tamar and Vince have been very open during the course of the reality show about their desire to have children and the fact that Tamar’s biological clock might be starting to tick. When asked about talking openly about that subject: “We wanted to bring awareness to things that people were afraid to talk about. I just thought that it was very important for women to understand that when you hit 30 and 31— and people joke about a biological clock, but it is a real thing and it does tick,” she said.
Vince’s health has also been a driving force in the couple’s desire to have kids sooner rather than later. The music mogul has had a few recent health scares lately, and that has definitely upped the couples drive to have children. Although it doesn’t look like (from the pictures we saw at least) that Tamar is expecting right now, we will be thrilled for this reality couple when they do decide it’s time to become parents!
