How your Conception Date can Influence Gender

Do you have three girls and want a boy now? Or, do you have two boys and want a girl? Do you want your first child to be a boy? Well, most of you are under the impression that you can do nothing about the gender of the baby except hope that it will be a boy or a girl according to your wishes. The fact, however, is that you can influence the sex of the baby. Most of you may brush it off as a myth but it is true and the concept involved is very simple. You just have to time the conception right and you can increase the chances of having a girl baby or a boy baby. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Types of sperm

It is a known fact that human semen consists of sperm and this sperm is of two types: male sperm and female sperm. Actually, studies have shown that 50% of the sperm are male and 50% are female. Thus, there are equal chances of having a boy or a girl. The main fact here is that the male sperm and the female sperm are physiologically different. You can use this difference to your advantage to determine the sex of the baby.

Male sperm

The male sperm or the sperm that is responsible for the birth of a boy child are faster. They tend to travel quickly to the egg and fertilize. So in the race between male and female sperm, the male sperm will emerge as the winner. However there is something very important to be noted here. The male sperm may be fast but it doesn’t live long. The flaw or the weakness of a male sperm is that it can’t survive for long and will die within a couple of days. So if the egg is already released and waiting for fertilization, the male sperm will reach it first, being faster and thus you will have a boy baby.

Female sperm

Conversely, the female sperm are extremely slow when compared to the male sperm but they can live longer. Thus, if you have intercourse before the egg is released and the sperm have to wait for the egg, it is more likely that you will have a girl baby.

Physiology of male and female sperm

Depending on this fact about the physiology of male and female sperm, you can alter your conception dates based on whether you want to have a boy baby or a girl baby. If you want a girl baby, you should have intercourse a few days before ovulation so that by the time the egg is released, the male sperm die and the female sperm fertilizes the egg. If you want a girl baby, you should have intercourse closer to your ovulation date or better still, while you are ovulating so that the male sperm swim faster and fertilize the egg while leaving the female sperm behind.

Remember that though the conception date plays a role in determining the gender of the baby, relying on it completely is wrong. By adjusting your conception date you are only increasing the chances of it being a boy or a girl and not completely guaranteeing it.
