Strength training

Switch to some strength training exercises to try to tighten up your loose skin. Adding some muscle can help to “fill in” the areas of loose skin and make it less noticeable.

Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate

It sounds crazy, but exfoliating the skin activates the skin’s natural elasticity and increases blood flow to the area. This can actually improve the appearance of loose skin and help to tighten it up.

Try To Lose Weight Slowly

Losing weight too quickly can have a dramatic effect on loose skin. If at all possible, try to lose weight gradually to minimize the effects of loose skin. This isn’t always possible, but if it happens, it’s better this way.

Stay Out Of The Sun

It’s not going to tighten your skin, but it’s going to keep it from getting worse. Stay out of the sun, wear lots of SPF, and definitely stay away from indoor tanning beds. This will keep your skin from getting worse, although it might not help it to improve.

Try A Wrap

Many spas have different wrap treatments that you can try, including seaweed wraps. There are tons of people who swear by these wrap treatments to help firm, tone and tighten skin. Plus, if it doesn’t work, you got a spa treatment out if it!!

Eat Lean Protein

Lean proteins are a great way to bulk up and firm that loose skin without actually gaining weight. You can use protein powders if you want to, but you can also eat healthy foods, like fish, chicken, nuts, etc. to help you do this as well.

Under The Knife

If nothing works for you to tighten your loose and saggy skin, there is always the option of surgical intervention. Tummy tucks are a great way to get rid of that excess skin, once and for all. However, it is pricey, and it’s definitely not an option for everyone, but for many women, it can be a great way to get rid of that skin once and for all.
