Food to Increase Male Fertility

For women that are infertile there are a lot of ways to help “remedy” the problem. While for men on the other hand – not so much! However, there is not much that can be done to “fix” them. On the other hand, there are things that you can do at home on your own that can help to produce strong and healthy sperm for implantation. Here we will discuss the foods that are best for men to eat to help with any fertility problems they may have.

Fish

Who would have thought it? Salmon, Mackerel, and Sardines are a good start on the oily fishes. These slimy creatures boost your omega 3 and 6 oils as well as your essential fatty acids. These are important to the overall health of the sperm, and according to some studies can act as its own stimulant for the penis, aiding in longer sex sessions and a better erection.

Avocados

Vitamin E anyone? This Vitamin E rich food is found in probably the best dip ever – guacamole! Aside from that, this fruit helps promote hormone health while improving the health of the sperm.

Pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin seeds are another great source of omega-3’s as well as zinc. These seeds, as odd of a snack as it seems, can help improve sperm quality and testosterone. They’re not just for Halloween anymore!

Leafy greens

Spinach, collard greens, lettuce, and many others are full of folate. Folate is known to increase sperm production and protecting the female’s fertilized egg from genetic deformities.

Green vegetables

My personal favorite! My husband ate these like crazy when we were trying to conceive our youngest child, it worked! (Well something worked!) Broccoli, kale and even bok choy (as well as other vegetables similar to this) are packed with Vitamins A and C that help with the strength of the sperm.

Oysters

Another sea found food! Aside from being a natural sexual stimulant this can also be used for Zinc! As stated before; zinc helps boost sperm production and testosterone. Oysters have more zinc in them than any other food.

Other things to bear in mind are simple to remember.

• Healthy is better.
• Herbs are good
• Vitamin rich foods are even better!
