It’s time to make Lucia a big sister. R&B singer Eric Benet and his wife Manuela Testolini are expecting their second child this summer. Their first child, daughter Lucia, is two years old, and she is thrilled at the prospect of being a big sis. The couple shared an adorable picture of Lucia out in the yard, making a to-do list on an easel. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here
Among the things listed were “enter the world”, “steal hearts”, “learn to walk”, “learn to talk”, and “learn to use the potty”. There was just one thing on the list that little Lucia hadn’t been able to check off yet: “Become a big sister!” The to do list said “Summer 2014” below the big sister item, and it was an absolutely adorable way to announce that another baby is on the way. Definitely look for more moms to be to start copying this one soon.
Eric Benet, 47, and Manuela, 37, were married in July 2011, and welcomed Lucia in December 2012. It was clear from the start that Eric was thrilled to be a dad, and that he was over the moon in love with his little girl.
“She is perfect in every way, and as expected, Manuela is truly proving to be the world’s best mother,”
Benet told Us Weekly when Lucia was just a month old.
“She is so attentive, nurturing and loving.”
So sweet! They are such an amazing couple, and we can’t wait to see their adorable new addition.
Benet was previously married to Halle Berry for three years, from 2002 until 2005. Manuela was previously married to Prince from 2001 to 2006. This will be the second child for Manuela. Eric became a father in 1991 to a daughter, India. His girlfriend at the time, Tami Marie Stauff, died in 1993 from injuries she sustained in a car accident, and Eric became a single dad to the two year old. Back in 2011, a then-18 year old India Benet was attending college, working on a music album, and modeling. It was rumored that India became very close to Halle Berry during Eric’s marriage to Halle, but the two stopped communicating completely when Halle and Eric divorced. That is very unfortunate, since we are sure that India needed a mother figure in her life. We hope that Manuela and India get along great, and that India still gets a chance to see and hang out with half-sister Lucia and the new baby as well.
