Charlie Sheen’s twin boys were taken away from their mother Brooke Mueller last week after officials deemed they were living in an “unsafe environment,” and you will never believe where the boys have ended up. Four year old twins Bob and Max are for the time being, staying with Charlie’s ex wife and mother of his two daughters, Denise Richards. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here
Sources close to the situation say that the Los Angeles County Department for Children’s Services showed up on Mueller’s doorstep early one morning last week with a warrant, and pulled the kids out of the home. It’s not really all that surprising, since Brooke has been to rehab multiple times in the past and is said to have a really bad ongoing drug problem.
As for Denise, she should be considered a saint by now. She has taken in Charlie and Brooke’s kids on numerous occasions. Just last December, Brooke went to rehab for the NINETEENTH time (we’re not joking!) over her Adderall addiction, and the boys went to Denise then too.
Sources close to the situation say that Brooke has no issues with Denise, and that she is her first choice for a caregiver for the boys. Back in December during Brooke’s last rehab ordeal, Denise said:
“This is not the first time I’ve had all five kids],” Richards explained to Access Hollywood at the time. “Brooke knows, and Charlie, that anytime they need help with the boys, I’m there.”
(Richards is mom to daughters Sam, 9, and Lola, 7, with Sheen, and adopted daughter, Eloise, 22 months.) Props to Denise for taking the boys in at such a bad time in their lives, where at least they can be with their sisters, and an adult that they know, love and trust.
Sources say that Charlie is currently living in the same gated community as Denise, so it is quite possible that he is seeing the boys more now than he was before. And, kudos to Charlie for realizing that the boys are better off with Denise.
There was a hearing earlier this week and while we don’t know the details, we are told that the conditions that Child and Family Services found in Brooke Mueller’s home were “shocking” and “horrible”. While we wait to hear exactly what that means, it is reassuring to know that the boys are safe with their sisters and Denise.
