Top Rated Home Pregnancy Tests

While there are tons of different brands and types of pregnancy tests out there, 3 pricier options top the charts for accuracy and user satisfaction when money's no object.

When you think that you’re pregnant, the pregnancy test you choose can make a difference. Some are more sensitive than others, meaning you can test earlier and they will be able to detect hCG when it is in your body at a lower level than other tests. Some brands have better reputations than other brands, and not all brands are created equal. Today we are going to tell you which pregnancy tests on the market today are the top rated ones, so you will know which ones to buy and which ones to skip. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

First Response Early Result

In all the studies that we have found, the First Response Early Result at home pregnancy test has been the number one performer. For an at-home test, it is very sensitive, actually the most sensitive on the market. This test is actually able to detect hCG in the urine BEFORE a missed period, which is almost unheard of in the at home pregnancy test world. This test also produces darker lines that are easier to read than any other test, making for less confusion when reading the results. This test is expensive, at around $20.00 for two, but this test is definitely worth it!

ClearBlue Easy digital pregnancy test

This test from ClearBlue Easy is also a great choice for a home pregnancy test. While this test from ClearBlue Easy is not as sensitive as the First Response Early Result test, it’s digital results make it easy to read. For women who are new to pregnancy tests, or are nervous to take one, it can really mean a lot to have the results easily available in digital form. No worrying about one line or two lines or pink lines or blue lines or plus signs or minus signs. Another great thing about the ClearBlue Easy line of tests is that the stick of this brand of test turns pink when it is being used correctly. This helps for women who might not otherwise urinate on the stick long enough.

First Response Gold

The First Response Gold at home pregnancy test is a very sensitive test that is designed to give you results up to five days before you miss your period. This test also offers an easy to read display, giving you a simple “yes” or “no” answer. One of the things that women love the most about this test is that it has a unique feature. It’s unique “test is working” display feature shows women that they are using the test properly, and lets you know that the test is in good working order. This feature is unique to First Response tests. This test is a bit more expensive than others, but many women think it is the best on the market.

These are the three top rated pregnancy tests for at home use. While there are tons of different brands and types of tests out there, these three are the top performers. Of course, please keep in mind that all pregnancy tests are only accurate and reliable if the instructions are followed properly and if they are used exactly as directed. If you have any questions about how to use your at home pregnancy test, you should be able to ask your local pharmacist for more information.

The dept dot is guaranteed to work for 3 months with only a .01% fail rate and those where because people failed to get the next shot before the 3 months came up. So if you had the shot more than 3 months ago you can get pregnant.

I took a hpt around 5/6 days after I believe we conceived, has I had been feeling off and had small amount of bleeding and pain on one side, which I believe can be implantation, any way I did 4 tests in the end as I didn’t believe the first positive one,all were positive, used two different brands, is it normal to pick up the hormone so soon?is something wrong?

Since the production of your hCG hormones starts to decrease at 12 weeks, there are lesser chances for you to get a correct result from your pregnancy test at 15 to 16 weeks of your pregnancy. It is best that you take a pregnancy test between 8 and 11 weeks of your pregnancy, where your hCG hormones are still on their highest level.

Getting pregnant is already possible as soon as 3 to 4 months after your last Depo Provera shot, however; its hormonal effects in your body might prevent you from getting pregnant up to 2 years after your last shot. It is important that you take fertility supplements, which can help induce your ovulation and regulate your periods in order for you to improve your likelihood of conceiving soon.

Yes; taking a home pregnancy test as early as now may give you inaccurate results. Given that pregnancy is usually detectable only after a fertilized egg has made it to the uterus, it is important that you take home pregnancy test 2 weeks or 14 days after your ovulation date for an accurate result.

Congratulations! Yes, it is possible for home pregnancy tests to detect pregnancy as early as 5 to 6 days after ovulation and nothing is wrong with that. It is best that you start taking prenatal vitamins now that you are pregnant in order to ensure a healthy development for your baby.

I do suggest that you take another home pregnancy test 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period for a reliable result. If you want to have an accurate result as soon as possible, you can try a blood pregnancy test which can determine if you’re pregnant in just 6 days. Since you have been showing the early signs of pregnancy like cramps and the swelling of breasts, you are most likely pregnant.

Since you’re on birth control pills, there is a very least chance for you to get pregnant. Your irregular periods are most likely due to your hormonal imbalances which are possibly caused by your miscarriage a month ago. It is best that you take a home pregnancy test 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period in order for you to confirm your pregnancy.

As long as it is used accordingly, home pregnancy tests are considered to be accurate and effective. It is important that you take a home pregnancy test 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period for consistent results. However; if you want to detect your pregnancy as soon as 6 days after your ovulation, I do suggest that you take a blood pregnancy test.

Given that IUDs are safe form of contraception, there is a good chance that you might be experiencing hormonal imbalances and there is nothing much for you to worry about. Your hormonal imbalances may have affected your menstrual cycles including your monthly periods. I do suggest that take fertility supplements such as Vitex and Clomid which can help induce your ovulation and help regulate your menstrual cycles.

Knowing that copper IUDs won’t affect your chances of getting pregnant, your irregular periods are most likely due to your hormonal imbalances. Your hormonal imbalances are caused by various factors, and I do suggest that you maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoid stress and quit unwanted habits in order for you to regulate your hormones and gradually normalize your cycles.

But i got my period June 14, 2013 and it went off on June 15, 2013. It wasnt an normal period. Bleed really light. I had no bleeding on June 16, 2013. But on June 17-18 I had a light pinkish colour spotting but only when i wipe after using the rest room. This is so unusual. But today on June 28, 2013 my breats are really tender. Took a pregnancy test today as well. It look like i seen a very very very faint line but i could be tripping. Im really not sure what it is and whats going on. Please i need answers.

You most likely are pregnant, given that you were able to have sexual intercourse during your fertile window. Your spotting is most probably due to uterine implantation, which normally occurs when the embryo has successfully implanted in the uterus and it is considered to be an early sign of pregnancy. I do suggest that you take a home pregnancy test again 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period for a consistent result. In addition, the faint line in your pregnancy test is probably due to the fact that you took the test earlier.

I have had merina for about 4yrs and have never had any complaints except mild cramping every now and then. I rarely have a period but have spotting sometimes. That being said, I think Im pregnant. alot of same symptoms as my two children…very uncomfortable cramps for over a week now, really sore nipples, much more frequent bathroom trips, acne flair, dramaticly more discharge and nausea that comes n goes. I am questioning the accuracy of a HPT bc I have no idea about my ovulation or periods. The cramping is pretty bad which is what 1st threw up the red flags bc of duration.

I’ve been on nuvaring for 6 years and never had any issues. This past May, my cycle came a week early, then again in June. I have had unprotected sex. The last time I had sex was on the 25th of June. That following day, I had really bad cramping. I started spotting. It was exactly 2 weeks after my last cycle started. I thought it was a regular cycle just really early, but the spotting lasted about 10 days and I still have really bad cramping. Not sure if I should take a pregnancy test. I’m not due to start my cycle until Thursday, but if I were still on the schedule of my nuvaring, it should start in 2 weeks! I don’t know what to do.

What I did notice on this cycle (never had this before, at least not that I remember) was that 7dpo I had a discharge and lasted for the next seven days (ewcm). The earliest time you can take a pregnancy test is two weeks
after your missed period. If you want to be absolutely certain, you may visit
your doctor and have a blood test done as your blood can show traces of hCG
    earlier than your urine.

There is a possibility that you are pregnant but its not showing on your test yet because it’s too early and your hCG levels are not high enough to confirm a positive result yet. Take another test two weeks after you miss your period for more accurate results.

Hi.Well, I was on lo loestrin fe for the month of sept 2013.my husband amd I are were intimate & he did ejaculate in me a few times within the month of september.I was having side effects that frightened me such as a tingling hand and arm, chest pain and shortness of breath. My mother had a blood clot in her lungs due to birth control so I didn’t want to put myself at risk and got off the pillas soon as my september pack was done with.I did get my period on sept.24 but very lightly and just for two days. The month of October I was not on any contraception and missed a period for October. We are now on November 3rd and no period, cramping on right lower side and my breasts are very sensitive and sore, mainly around my nipples.I have taken to at hpt and both were negative. Was it too soon to test? When should i test?.

So I had my tubes tied in Feb 2001. I had my last period a little before Christmas 2013 (I have never kept track of the actual day of the month since my ligation). Its now 1/22/14 and I’ve had sore breasts for the last 9 days. I usually get sore about 3 days before period due to start but so far…no period. I took a First Response early detection and an EPT digital with both results showing as negative. My biggest concern is that its an ectopic pregnancy and the HCG levels may be too low to show on a Home Pregnancy Test. Any ideas or suggestions?

I normally take birth control, one that is designed that if you
don’t want to have a period for a few months than you just take it back
to back (my insurance only let me fill one month at a time though). I
ran out of pills and had not filled yet, so i decided to go ahead and
have period and start a new pack after it was finished.

My last pill is on saturdays and depending what time I take my pills, my
period normally starts between the Wed-Fri after I finish the pack. I
should have started between Sept3-5th. On Sept 7th my husband and I had
unprotected sex and We think we may have ejaculated inside me (he was
trying to pull out because he went early). It is now September 10th and I
still have not had my period. We normally use condoms as well as my
birth control. I am potentially pregnant or am I just really late on my
period. I will state I have only been this late maybe once or twice. I
am almost 23 years old and I have been on the pill since I was 14
    because of menstrual cramps.

So… am I potentially pregnant or just very late? If it is very late, should I have my doctor re-evealute what BC I am on?
