Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPKs)

Knowing when you ovulate is the key to getting pregnant. Ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) are a great resource for women to pinpoint the day they ovulate to time intercourse exactly right.

For women trying to get pregnant, one of the most important parts of the process is tracking your cycle and knowing when you are ovulating. This can be very tricky and difficult for some women, but fortunately, there are a ton of products on the market these days that can make the process easier! Ovulation predictor kits are now readily available at local drugstores, and they can be a great asset to many women.

How do ovulation prediction kits work?

Ovulation predictor kits work by detecting elevated levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) that is in your urine. LH is the hormone that rises just before you ovulate. At-home ovulation predictor kits recognize this surge in hormones, and helps you to recognize the time that you are going to ovulate. These tests are a lot like over the counter home pregnancy tests in the way that you use them. They can be up to 99 percent effective in detecting LH in the body. They are usually around $10 each at your local drugstore. Claim Your 20 Free OPKs – Click Here

Who should use them?

Women who are trying to get pregnant are obviously a good choice for using these kits. They can be a big help in the confusing process of charting and tracking ovulation cycles. The ovulation prediction kits are also helpful to women who need to figure out if they are ovulating at all. It is important to test more than once per day, since the surge of LH hormone happens quickly, and you don’t want to miss it. You also should take the test at the same time each day, and make sure not to use the first morning urine.

What happens if you get a positive result?

If you get a positive result, it means that your body has had a surge of LH. Congratulations, you should be ovulating within 36 hours!!! Once you get a positive test, there is no need to retest. And ladies, you know what that means! Once you get a positive result, there is no need for you to be reading this article anymore. Get off of the computer, and get busy! Time’s a wastin’!

The first thing you have to do when you’re trying to conceive is to get off Depo. Most women are able to conceive about 4-6 months after their last shot. Some women even take longer than that. You can increases your chances of getting pregnant quicker by eating right, exercising regularly and taking prenatal vitamins.
