Over the Counter Fertility Drugs for Women

Looking for over the counter fertility drugs for women? Check out this top 5 list of various over-the-counter fertility supplements, blends and vitamins to help you get pregnant faster.

The fertility drugs for women, over the counter or prescription based, are both regulated by the FDA and can be separated in three main categories: Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Drugs that prevent ovulation

Many women use these types of fertility drugs before deciding to have a baby, in order to prevent an unwanted pregnancy and, while they are usually available with a prescription, more and more teens resort to them in their attempt to hide their sexual life from their parents.

Stimulating drugs

On one hand, they stimulate the ovaries to produce more than one egg; while on the other hand, they stimulate the egg to mature faster. The most common of these fertility drugs for women being Clomid and, respectively, Novarel or Ovidrel.

Drugs that help the female body produce more fertility hormones

Drugs that help the female body produce more fertility hormones than it normally releases, the hormones characteristic to the natural menstrual cycle. In this category, the most common fertility drugs for women are Estrace, Climara, Vivelle, Progesterone in oil or vaginal suppositories.

Most of the medicines mentioned above are prescription drugs that, almost always, cannot be purchased over the counter. The best sold over the counter fertility remedies are those made of natural herbs and supplements, namely:

Ovulex

Produced of 100% natural herbs, Ovulex works by stimulating the reproductive hormones. Reports show that it does not work for all types of women and it is fairly costly.

Vitex

Vitex is a much less pricey substitute for Ovulex, as an herbal supplement that is extracted from the fruits of the chasteberry plant. Vitex is reported to have many fertility-enhancing effects, from stimulating ovulation to regulating female hormones. It is highly recommended to be tried as a primary alternative.

Femara

Also known as Letrozole, Femara is an oral non steroidal treatment, not only for pregnancy, but for breast cancer as well. This prescription fertility drug can be found online, sold over the counter, without a prescription. It stimulates the ovarian system to mature the egg faster and produce the necessary hormones to sustain a pregnancy.

FertiBella ConceiveEasy

This monthly reproductive support system comes in 12 monthly blends, a proprietary combination of herbs, minerals and vitamins (including folate). FertiBella ConceiveEasy functions to help enhance fertility in women, by regulating cycles, stimulating ovulation and lengthening luteal phase for those suffering from luteal phase defect. It can dramatically increase your chances of getting pregnant. Try the new TTC Starter Kit for free today, and receive a 2-month supply of fertility pills, 20 pregnancy and/or ovulation tests, as well as a BBT thermometer to help track your ovulation.

Other natural & herbal fertility supplements for women include chasteberry, ginkgo biloba, vitamin C, acetyl-L-carnitine, L-carnitine, L-argine, and vitamin B6.

No matter how you choose to provide yourself with the necessary medication in order to get pregnant faster, make sure you take into consideration all the possible side effects and that you consult with your doctor. Whether prescribed or over the counter, these fertility enhancers are drugs, and they should help you make your dreams come true, not bring about other problems.

Fibroids can make conceiving pretty challenging since it can pose a lot of risk for you and the baby. It is best that you consult your doctor and have it managed and work with him throughout your pregnancy to ensure the health and safety of both you and your baby.

If you have ovulated today then you are not pregnant however, it is a good time for you to have sex to increase your chances of conceiving this month. If you miss your period, take a pregnancy test two weeks after for more reliable results.

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over 2 years now. I am very irregular, I always have been. I have gone to my obgyn blood work normal, pelvic ultra sound normal and all she can say is that my weight is stopping me from getting pregnant. Will these pills really help me? I have family member and friends who are my weight if not bigger than me and already have children.

My husband and I have been TTC since February. I had the implanon in my arm for 2&1/2 years and had it removed Jan.29th 2013. Any tips on how long it takes to conceive after having that remove?.. My friend had hers removed in April this year and she is now 3 months pregnant. I thought for sure I would have pregnant by now. Doctors say they can’t do anything until January of next year, any tips on what I can try before then. I’ve done so much research and am tracking ovulation and my cycles (which are always 2-5 days late every month).

I only get my period like once every two years or so, and my doctors aren’t sure why – I don’t have PCOS. My husband and I have been TTC for three years, but since I don’t get my period, I am obviously not ovulating. Is there an over-the-counter treatment that will help me?
