i’ve been following the signs and i strongly believe i am not ovulating. My doctor wants to send me for a HSG exam first before we try anything else. I just want some advice on the steps that i should be taking – I read that hormone imbalance might be an issue & i do suffer from facial hair, which after a month of taking maca root has minimized. Please help

Irregular cycles are usually caused by hormonal imbalances, and can be regulated by birth control pills. Your doctor prescribed you with birth control pills to initially regulate your menstrual cycles. Once your cycles have become regular, you can easily get pregnant.

Given that you are suffering from facial hair, you most likely have hormonal imbalances. It is best that you avoid stress, eat balanced meals, and get enough sleep to regulate your hormones and your ovulation cycles for you to conceive soon.

the pill regulates cycles?! What an absurdity! The pill STOPS the reproductive cycle. In NO way does it improve fertility. God, that’s why I stopped going to doctors…

For some people it does help! I know for me, when I’m off the pill the first month is 30 days and do ovulate, then second and so on it’s 45+ and I don’t ovulate. First month off this past time around I did get pregnant, but then miscarried at 7 weeks, so I’m looking for other ways to try and help me ovulate.
