What is Maca?

Maca, also known as Maca Root, is a root like vegetable that is grown in some of the harshest conditions in the world, in Peru. Maca is the only plant in the world that can not only grow, but also thrive in these super harsh conditions. This makes Maca a very unique plant in and of itself, but it has some really great benefits as a health supplement and natural fertility treatment method.

Maca for female fertility

Maca has been used as a fertility supplement for thousands of years! Maca contains over thirty different minerals and over sixty different phytonutrients. While Maca itself does not contain hormones, it can help to affect hormones in both men and women, making it a valuable supplement. Maca supports the balance of hormones in the body and also supports the thyroid, and normal sexual function. Maca is also able to increase stamina, energy and mental clarity, making it a very valuable supplement indeed. It has been shown to help with a lot of the essential body processes that are necessary for fertility, such as supporting the function of the pituitary gland and other vital body processes.

Maca for male fertility

It also is helpful as a male fertility aide, helping with sperm count, motility and movement. As you can see Maca can be beneficial to both men and women as a natural and inexpensive fertility aid.

Where to buy Maca

You can find Maca over the counter at a number of drug stores and health food stores. It does not require a prescription, and is very inexpensive. You can buy Maca in both capsule form as well as powder form. You can take the capsules as you would any other medication, and the powder form can be used in cooking or dissolved. Maca can take a while, usually between three to six months to build up enough in your system that you will start to see results. However, some people see results sooner than that. The best part is that Maca is not a drug, so you will not be putting any unnatural chemicals or ingredients into your body. Maca has been trusted by many people for thousands of years as a fertility aid, so why not try some today and see if Maca can offer you some benefits too?

It is still possible to get pregnant even if you have cysts on both ovaries. Although yes, for some couples, it would take time before they conceive. You may want to work closely with your doctor with your pregnancy plans so he can check your overall health and discuss your fertility options.

Yes, the missionary position or the partner on top is considered to be the best sex position to use when trying to get pregnant. The missionary position is an effective sex position to use when trying to conceive in such a way that when the woman is lying down on her back, her vagina is tilted towards the cervix, wherein the sperm can easily make their way to her egg.
