Increase Sperm Count Naturally

Want to increase your sperm count naturally? Try these top 5 tips to help give your body its best chance at a healthy sperm count without resorting to treatments or medications.

Not only the woman’s eggs, but also the man’s sperm must be of good quality when it comes to conceiving a child. For this reason, if there are suspicions regarding the possible infertility of one of the partners, the future father should undergo a series of medical tests in order to see if enough semen is present in the seminal liquid, and if the sperm have good motility. Medicine offers many solutions to cure infertility in men, including surgical procedures, but the general tendency is to look for ways to increase sperm count naturally. Here are five of the most popular methods that have proved really helpful in improving the quality and quantity of the semen.

Quit smoking

If you want to become a parent rapidly, then you must quit smoking. Nicotine and other substances contained in cigarettes have a negative impact on the amount and quality of the sperm you produce. Alcohol and drugs have the same effect, so you have to consider reducing the drinks. You must also ask your doctor if the medicines you take in order to treat any other illnesses affect your fertility in any way.

Vitamins & Minerals

Minerals and vitamins are very important for normal functioning of your body, and some of them can really help you increase sperm count naturally. As a result, you must consume foods that are rich in vitamins B and C, zinc and chromium. In order to increase your daily intake of the mentioned substances, you can also take different supplements.

Stay in good shape

A good physical condition is often the key to avoiding fertility problems in men. By exercising regularly exercises, you not only stimulate the development of your muscular mass and the functioning of your internal organs, but you also maintain your weight under control. Many studies prove that men who are excessively thin or overweight have lower chances to become parents.

Keep sperm cool

Keeping your reproductive organs cool is especially important. For this, you must wear loose boxers instead of tight underwear. For the same reason, you must reduce the frequency and duration of cycling sessions, if you are fond of this sport. Heat can have a highly detrimental effect on sperm, and so staying cool is a must.

Avoid hot tubs

Hygiene is very important if you want to have a good state of health, but in order to increase your chances to become a father, you have to avoid hot baths and saunas. Again, extreme heat can affect the sperm production in a negative way, lowering its quantity and quality.

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years and no luck we do not use any birth control, of course. What can we do to speed up the process ? I have been told I have a slightly tilted uterus and my husband was on seizure medication, we recently found out that the medication decreased his sperm mobility.

When sperm motility is less than 50% then chances of
spontaneous pregnancy decreases. But, there are several factors
to consider in this condition which includes the duration of infertility, the
frequency and timing of intercourse, and the age and health of both partners
are all important factors in the equation. I would recommend seeing your doctor
for a semen analysis as an important part of an infertility evaluation. Once the causes of low
    sperm motility are found and detected then within three months of treatment;
sperm motility & motility becomes normal in more than 90% cases. There are several potential medical options
that can improve sperm motility. Then you can see your gynecologist to
determine your gynecologic condition and provide you with available treatment
    options.

If you have a low sperm motility, it is best recommended to consult a fertility specialist in order to have your fertility options discussed. One of which is IVF (in vitro fertilization) in which the egg is fertilised by sperm outside the body. Meanwhile, you can increase sperm motility by avoiding tight underwear and hot baths and saunas, and avoiding prolonged sexual activity. Also, you need to incorporate nutritious foods into your diet like foods rich in antioxidants and l-carnitine to improve your sperm quality.

Have a zero sperm count is called azoospermia and there are lots of causes for that such as a problem with sperm production, or a blockage. It is best that your husband sees a urologist to determine if there are any veins obstructing the passage of sperm to the semen.

A tilted uterus should not affect your chances of getting pregnant. Although, it is best that you have intercourse in positions that allow deep penetration to increase your chances of conceiving. Also, try having sex every other day to ensure your ovulation days are covered.

I have 3 children from a previous relationship but my husband wants another child, it’s been 4 yrs of trying with no success. I don’t know if it’s infertility or a low sperm count. Is there anyway to determine the difference without having to go to a specialist?

The only way to be certain if you guys have any underlying fertility issues is to visit a specialist. Tests need to be done on the both of you and your health has to be assessed in order to determine if you can be able to conceive another baby.
