Improve Egg Quality: Infertility

Many women who deal with infertility issues are told that their eggs are too old or too unhealthy, so the chances of a normal pregnancy are very small. Try these 4 tips to get your eggs healthy in just 90 days.

Some say that only old eggs might affect fertility, but, in fact, there are many factors that influence the health of the egg and, thus, a woman’s ability to conceive. Some of these factors are nutrition, environmental factors, or lifestyle. As you can see, these factors are controllable, which means that you can improve your eggs’ health and increase your chances of getting pregnant. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Many women who deal with infertility issues are told that their eggs are too old or too unhealthy, so the chances of a normal pregnancy are very small. They might be faced with the alternative of adoption, IVF or even using the egg of a donor. However, these women must know that with a little effort, they can improve the health of their eggs, and they might have the chance to experience motherhood naturally.

Although after ovulation, the egg does not live longer than about 24 hours, it takes a long time for that egg to mature. Before ovulation, an egg’s cycle is around 90 days, time in which the quality of the egg can be influenced by different aspects, such as nutrition, oxygenation, proper blood circulation, the balance of the hormones, the mood of the mother, and stress. So over the next 90 days, try the below tips to get your eggs healthier so you can conceive faster.

Drink plenty of water & get exercise

To grow healthy eggs, good oxygenation and blood circulation are necessary. But what can you do to increase the blood flow to your ovaries? One tip would be drinking plenty of water and exercising regularly. Activity and good hydration will stimulate circulation and improve egg health.

Massage your abdomen & ovaries

And exercise is not the only thing you can do to help your ovaries get more oxygen. You might be surprised to find out that massaging your abdomen and ovaries has the power to bring fresh blood to your reproductive organs, reduce stress and facilitate ovulation.

Healthy diet… plus try these fertility superfoods

Because nutrition is also important, you should pay attention to what you eat. Besides following a healthy and nutritive diet, make sure to take a multivitamin to keep your body healthy and energetic. Stay away from bad foods, like caffeine, sugar, or alcohol, and try to include the following fertility superfoods in your daily meals.

royal jelly
maca
bee propolis
spirulina

Stay calm & relaxed

Finally, because a good mood is of utmost importance, try to stay away from stress and relax as much as possible. Although you might think it is not a very important matter, believe me, it is. Stress could prevent ovulation or lead to the release of unhealthy eggs. Therefore, whenever you have some time, go for a walk or take a long relaxing bath. Your body and your reproductive system will relax and feel healthier, as well.

Maca and spirulina definitely work!  Got pregnant naturally using both after 2 miscarriages at ages 39 and 41.

I’ve been trying to conceive for at least 1 1/2 yrs now and haven’t. I’ve tried to take birth control pills and the first week they made me sick so I stopped taking them. I recommended to the physician to prescribe a low dose estrogen pill because too much estrogen make me really sick and she did but it still made me sick. What can I do because I’ve tired all I can.

It usually takes an average of 2 to 3 months for the body to adjust from stopping birth control and for cycles to return to its pre-birth control state. However, this time period varies for different women. It all comes down to how fast your own reproductive system reacts. You can try Fertibella ConceiveEasy, which is an all natural reproductive support system, clinically  proven to help overcome the common obstacles to conception. Fertibella stimulates ovulation by regulating hormones and normalizing menstrual cycles, which is what your body needs to conceive after stopping birth control.

I highly recommend seeing a fertility specialist too to determine the exact cause of your infertility and be provided with available fertility treatment. Untreated infections, sexually transmitted diseases, or poor health can affect your chances of getting pregnant.

I have been trying to get pregnant for a year and half now with no success. I just turned 44, but am in good health. My mother and sisters have all delivered healthy babies in their forties. I finanlly went to a fertility specialist for help. I’ve had all the testing…ultrasound, bloodwork, hormone tests, HSG…everything. I was told I only had a couple of eggs in each ovary and that I am not ovulating every month and that ”my eggs are old”. Her diagnosis was “ovarian dysfunction” and that I was pre-menopausal. The only options I was given are IVF or adoption!! The specialist stated my FSH was 25.8 (too high) and AMH <0.08 (too low). I refuse to accept this…is there any HOPE for a MIRACLE??

I recommend that you consult a fertility specialist in order to have your fertility options discussed. One of the options could be IVF (in vitro fertilization) in which the egg is fertilized by the sperm outside the body. There are lots of ways to improve the quality of your eggs. You should incorporate a lot of dark, leafy veggies, salmon, halibut, turmeric and royal jelly into your diet as it is one of the top of foods for egg health. You should avoid caffeine, tobacco and processed foods. You may also do fertility yoga to strengthen your reproductive organs.

I went off the pill after 20 years last summer (2012). In the fall, when my obgyn took blood, she told me that my FSH level was elevated (14.3) and that I needed to see an RE. The RE retested my blood and the FSH came back at 8.3. Since I’m 39 and had an elevated FSH level, she suggested to start me on Clomid during my next cycle in January. If that didn’t work, she said I should try IVF at the latest in March. In December I somehow managed to get pregnant without any drugs. Unfortunately, last week they discovered no heartbeat and I had a D&C. A test of the material uncovered that the miscarriage was due to a “bad” egg. My RE is now pressuring me to do IVF immediately, telling me that it’s the only way to avoid another miscarriage. I’m reluctant and would like to try Clomid instead. What’s the danger in waiting with IVF for two or three months?

Hormonal balance is essential for proper egg health. Due to environmental factors, stress, and modern diets more and more women are becoming hormonally imbalanced. If hormonal balance is off the eggs may not respond, the fertility cycle gets out of balance, and ovulation may not occur. An intricate hormonal symphony is at play every month in preparation and fulfillment of the fertility cycle. The types of nutrients your eggs depend on are found in a diet dense in nutrition. Top foods for egg health are royal jelly, maca, broccoli, berries, dark leafy veggies, salmon, pumpkin seeds, turmeric. And foods that may damage egg health are caffeine, non-organic meats and dairy, soda, processed foods, Trans fats, low fat diet and avoid those GMO foods (Genetically Modified Organisms). Of course stop smoking and limit alcohol intake.

Hyperthyroidism is commonly caused by the infection or inflammation of the thyroid gland, and can most likely prevent one from conceiving. With your doctor’s prescription, it is best that you take thyroid hormone medicines such as levothyroxine to properly restore your thyroid gland, and improve your chances of conceiving. Medications of levothyroxine are usually injected, and dosage for this would largely depend on your thyroid hormone levels.

Since you have no eggs on your follicles, I do recommend that you take fertility supplements such as Vitex, Clomid and Fertibella ConceiveEasy which can help induce your ovulation, prior to your next IVF. You can as well take Gonadtropin injectables before your next IVF method, for a more guaranteed result.

I got pregnant after trying clomid 100 mg first cycle, but had a m/c at 18 weeks due to incompetent cervix. Been trying to get pregnant again for the past 4 mtgs went up to 200 mg in clomid still nothing. I am having hands and legs joint pains due to taking this medication. My Doctor wants to keep trying clomid for another two mtgs before moving to something else. What else can I tell my doctor to give me besides clomid to increase egg growth and ovulation release?

You may try taking ovulation pills such as Clomid to help you as it works by stimulating your ovaries to induce ovulation. But of course you may try asking 2nd opinion from other doctors and have further test done.

Hi, I’ve been told my eggs are much older than me and therefore quality is quite low. Im nearly 35 which makes my eggs over 40. I have done 4 rounds of IVF but with no luck. In the last 2 cycles I got some eggs and they fertilized. And both times implanted the best one. (But no pregnacy. And all my eggs didn’t develop enough to freeze. I am desperate to have a baby of my own. But am losing my positivity and hope. Is there anything anywhere in the world that can help me.

I am 37 years old and have done several rounds of IVF. I was told that I have low ovarian reserve, and didn’t have long until menopause. My mother was done with menopause in her early 40′s. My husband and I have an almost 2 year old from IVF (he was an 8 cell), and then 4/13 had a mc at 3 months (she was a 6 cell) with our 2nd IVF attempt. My TSH level was .008 at the time of mc. I was told that they do not want it to go below .1 in the 1st trimester of pregnancy. I was advised to get my thyroid removed since I have Hoshimoto and Graves disease and my body wasn’t responding to the meds for TSH after my miscarriage. I had my thyroid removed 8/13 and was given the green light for IFV 10/13. I am a poor responder to IVF meds so they always give me the max doses. I have only had 4 eggs on two of our retrievals and then 3 eggs on the last retrieval. I started my priming 11/13 and then ovarian stims 12/13. I had 2 4 cells and 1 10 cell. The best 4 cell (rated good quality) and the 10 cell (almost perfect) did not result in a pregnancy. I had my pregnancy test and TSH done on the same day and my TSH was 30. When we began this IVF cycle it was 2.45. In a months time it went from 2.45 to 30. The IVF doctors feel I didn’t get pregnant because of poor egg quality, but other doctors feel that it could of been due to my TSH level. No doctor I spoke to had ever heard of anyone’s TSH levels elevating this much during an IFV cycle. Since my mc 4/13 and my D&C my periods have been 26 days instead of 28, and I am ovulating on cycle day 16 instead of 10. My FSH levels are very similar to when I started IVF so I am not sure if I am that much closer to menopause and almost out of eggs, and the quality is bad or if it is more due to my thyroid issues? The only testing I have had done is the blood work and vaginal ultrasounds. When I had my 2 year old I had a C-section since he was breach. The OB told me that I had lots of scars and adhesions in my abdominal cavity. He removed some but left most of them. I found that very odd since I had never had any abdominal surgery before. I wonder if that could have something to do with my infertility problems? Is there any further testing that I need? What can I do to improve my egg quality, and my husbands sperm quality.
