Earliest Pregnancy Symptoms Before a Missed Period

Find out the earliest pregnancy symptoms before a missed period, some even as early as a few days after conception.

When most women think about pregnancy symptoms, that telltale missed period is usually at the top of the list. But, did you know that there are several pregnancy symptoms that sometimes show up even before that missed period, and some even as early as a few days after conception? If you are having a hard time waiting to see if your period is late or right on time, here are a few early pregnancy symptoms that you can be on the lookout for. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

Elevated BBT

Ah, the good old basal body temperature again! If you have been charting and tracking your BBT, this one should be a no brainer for you! When a fertilized egg is implanted, your BBT goes up and stays up from anywhere between one half of a degree and one whole degree. If you are already charting your basal body temperature (you will need a special thermometer for this), you should be able to notice this tiny little change in temp quite easily. It is usually one of the very first signs of pregnancy, and can happen as quickly as two days after you ovulate. So, ladies, get to tracking!

Cramps

Most ladies think this is just PMS, a few cramps here and there. While you might be anticipating your period coming in just a few days, that is not always the case. When the embryo implants itself in the uterus, it can actually cause menstrual-like cramping in many women! You might also notice some PMS-like bloating related to the rise of progesterone and estrogen in your body. Keep in mind that there can even be some implantation bleeding 8-10 days after ovulation, so you might really think that you are getting your period! So, when you are experiencing what seems like normal PMS symptoms, keep in mind that it could be those tricky old early pregnancy symptoms after all.

Breast changes

Changes in the breasts are usually one of the first things that women notice as a sign of pregnancy. You might notice your breasts becoming bigger or more tender. Another early sign is changes that might take place around the nipple area. You will notice your nipples becoming much more tender, and the areola around the nipple will become larger and darker. You can notice these changes in your breasts before your missed period.

Fatigue

Fatigue is usually one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms, but most women don’t even notice it. I mean, really, who isn’t tired these days? But early pregnancy fatigue goes beyond being just “tired”. You might not be able to stay up past 7 pm, or maybe you fall asleep watching your favorite soap opera in the middle of the afternoon. Pregnancy hormones, especially early pregnancy hormones, can really take a serious toll on your body. So, don’t brush it off as just being tired… Fatigue is definitely one of the most common early pregnancy symptoms.

Getting pregnant after having one of your tubes removed is possible, but it is best that you visit your doctor regularly so he can monitor your health and help you avoid another tube pregnancy. You can increase you chances of conceiving by determining when your fertile days are. You can use an ovulation prediction kit to help you with that.

Me and my fiance have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months now. I’m 18 hes 23 we haven’t had any luck. I have no health issues..neither does he. I’m a vegaterian but I’m not on a proper vegaterian diet. I don’t eat or drink any sugar the only thing I drink is water litterally. Could this be why I’m not getting pregnant? What will help us get preggo??Help please we really want a baby.

No,being a vegetarian won’t greatly affect your ability to conceive. Given that you and your partner are still young, there is a least chance that both you might be experiencing infertility issues. It is best that you track down your ovulation dates, and increase your sexual intercourse during your fertile days, which are usually 4 to 5 days before your ovulation. You should take fertility supplements as well in order to enhance your body’s fertility, and increase your chances of conception.

There is a good chance that you might be experiencing infertility issues, since you have been trying to conceive for two years already. It is best that you have a preconception check-up with your ObGyn, where you can have your and your partner’s fertility check. In this way, you can as well determine the cause of your heavy menstruation flow which is usually due to hormonal imbalances.

Congratulations! It is best that your mother should start taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid supplements in order to provide the unborn child a healthy development. I do recommend that she should try to exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet and avoid stress for a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Yes; you most likely are pregnant and your spotting is commonly due to your uterine implantation. It would be best that you try to take a home pregnancy test 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period for a reliable result. As soon as you have confirmed your pregnancy, it is quite essential that you try to visit your doctor regularly for a prenatal check-up.

I always get my period the last week of the month and so far I haven’t gotten it I’m only just four more days before the month is over but I haven’t experience any early pregnancy symptons what can I do is it just stress or is it normal? What can I do I’ve been also wanted to be “in the mood” lately as some call it but no symptoms at all.

Since you’re not showing any pregnancy signs or symptoms, there is a very good chance that your irregular period is most likely caused by your hormonal imbalances. Experiencing hormonal imbalances are completely normal and are usually due to various factors such as stress. It is best that you take fertility supplements such as Fertibella ConcieveEasy to control your hormonal levels and regulate your menstrual cycles.

Is it possible to get pregnant the day before you expect your period? I’m on birth control & took my last pill on Sunday. Had intercourse (unprotected) tuesday night & am expecting my period today (wednesday). I almost always get my period on the wednesday after taking my last birth control pill.. occasionally thursday morning. Should I be worried about conception?

Since you had sexual intercourse a day before your period and not on your fertile window, there is a small chance for you to be pregnant and there is nothing much for you to worry about. Your irregular period is most likely caused by hormonal imbalances, which is commonly due to stress and is quite normal for women. However; if your menstrual period does not come, you should try taking a home pregnancy test 14 days after the first day that you have missed your period in order for you to be sure.

Knowing that each woman’s reproductive system may vary, your menstrual periods will greatly depend on your hormonal levels. It is best that you try taking 50 mg of Clomid during days 3 to 7 of your cycle for 6 months at the maximum in order for you to regulate your hormones and to boost your body’s fertility. For you to speed up the regulation of your hormones, it is best that you maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid stress.

Pregnancy symptoms don’t usually appear until before your missed menstrual cycle. The best way to know for sure if you are pregnant or not is to visit your doctor and have yourself tested or take a pregnancy test at home 7-14 days after a missed period.

Last cycle was on the 6th of August – my husband and I had intercourse several times between day 6 and 14 of my cycle. I am now on day 19 of my cycle and I have had cramping, lower back pain, headaches, tired and slight discomfort in my breasts. We have 4 children and have had a set of twins naturally. Wondering if I could be feeling signs of another multiple pregnancy since I remember feeling things a lot earlier with that pregnancy.

The soonest time you can take a home pregnancy test is two weeks after the day you missed your period. It is advisable to take it first thing in the morning as your morning urine contains the highest concentration of hCG which is the pregnancy hormone. Good luck on your TTC journey!

I’m going to start off by saying sorry if this is long.
I’ve been with my husband for 7 wonderful years we are both in our twenties and have been ttc for 2 and a half years and started seeing a fertility specialist 6 months ago. last month we got all of our blood work and other tests, sperm count, dye test(ouch), ect back and everything’s good sperm counts high my cycle is very regular (32 days) and I do ovulate regularly. But no success. Both of us are in good shape, and we have never been preg. This month I started taking clomid and now I’m on day 27 of my cycle and I “feel” preg. And for the last week and a half I’ve been experiencing light cramping every time I move along with being bloated. We have tried extra hard this month and I’m at a loss I am afraid to take a test as I can’t stand the thought of a bfn so what I’m asking is does this sound like we may be preg. Or from the meds any advice would be greatly appreciated

Conceiving can be quite challenging for some couples even if there are no fertility issues on both sides. Don’t lose hope! Light cramping and bloating sounds like early pregnancy symptoms. If you miss your period, then take a pregnancy test after 2 weeks to make sure. If you aren’t pregnant by then, there are ways you can do to boost your chances. You may try having intercourse every other day to ensure your fertile windows are covered.

    Good morning,

I was wondering if you can help. My husband and I have not been trying to conceive but I cannot be on any birth control since my twin sister was diagnosed with a blood thickening mutation. So pregnancy is always a possibility. I am not due for my monthly for ten more days. Yet, I have been getting sore breasts, bloating, slightly nauseous, light headed and extremely tired for the past week. Of course my husband and I do the ol’ unfaithful “pull and pray” and that was a couple times in the past two weeks. How long should I wait to see my doctor because if I am pregnant I would most likely need to start on blood thinner injections as my twin sister had to do.

    Sincerely,
An Anxious Wife who is avoiding telling her husband until she is certain.

It’s been six months since my miscarriage. I remember my breasts feeling sore about a week before my missed period and I just KNEW. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about four months. I haven’t felt pregnant these four months until a few days ago when my breasts and nipples felt tender and hot. That means I could be feeling symptoms eleven days before my period. I just took a test and it was negative, but I FEEL pregnant like I did the first time. The symptoms seem way too early though. Could I be psyching myself out or am I pregnant?
