Best Ways to Get Pregnant After Depo

Did you use Depo Provera as contraception but now want to get pregnant? Find out the best ways to get pregnant after Depo.

Depo Provera can be a great contraceptive choice for many women. It allows them to not have to think about contraception on a daily basis, and makes it easy for them to go on about their daily lives without the worry of birth control weighing on their mind. However, many women worry about getting pregnant after depo and wonder if they will have a hard time and if there is anything they can do to increase their chances. Claim Your 20 Free Pregnancy Tests – Click Here

It may take up to a year

One important thing to remember is that it can take a long time for Depo Provera to get out of your system. The average time that it takes for Depo to get out of your system is 12 months, and sometimes longer. It does take the body a long time to return to normal after Depo Provera shots, and it takes a long time for the Depo to get out of your system. There is really no way to “rush” the Depo out of your system, and no way to make it happen faster. You just have to give your body enough time to let it happen naturally.

Know your body

Since there is only a small window of time when you can get pregnant each month anyway, it might be helpful for you to learn how to track your ovulation or chart your cycles. This can be helpful in helping you know exactly when you need to have sex in order to get pregnant. There are many websites out there dedicated to help you learn how to track your cycles, and a ton of over the counter ovulation prediction kits available as well.

Talk with your doctor

Talking with your doctor is also a good idea if you are trying to get pregnant after your Depo shots stop. You might be able to have your hormone levels checked to see how they are. Doctors are also a valuable resource in telling you about their experiences and may be a great advocate for helping you in your journey to getting pregnant.

The effects of one Depo-Provera shot can last up to eight months after the shot is administered, which means you will not be ovulating until then. Depending on how your body responds, it can take an average of four to eight months after the last shot to get pregnant. Some even take up one to two years to conceive. You can try Fertibella ConceiveEasy which is designed to regulate hormones and normalize cycles which will then lead you to ovulating again, therefore increasing your chances for conceiving.

It usually takes at least 8 months, or even up to 2 years for some women, for the body to return to its normal cycles and for the Depo to completely get out of the system. This means chances of getting pregnant may be rare until then. The time period will depend on how fast your body can get back to its pre-Depo state. It could be a good option for you to set a preconception visit with your doctor for you to be able to discuss your concerns about getting pregnant, and also to ensure your health for a future pregnancy.

Fertibella is safe to use along side other products. Although, if you are planning to get pregnant,  all forms of birth control must be discontinued as soon as possible. Fertibella can help increase the chances of getting pregnant at the earliest possible time for it can help the body return to its usual cycles by regulating hormone levels and normalizing cycles, therefore stimulating ovulation, which is very beneficial especially after ceasing a chemical form of birth control.  Consulting your doctor about the medications your are taking and about other reproductive health concerns is highly recommended to ensure your safety and health.

I was on depo for a year I left it 7 months ago  march 2012 got my first period by the end of october then i got a very regular cycle by the next month. After that i took track of my ovulation and  my ovulation test came out positive the exact same day it was supposed to ovulate. Now, i had sex that day and  kept going with my tracking. I was supposed to have my period today…I haven’t . I did a pregnancy test later at night and it it came out negative and i sorta spot just one spot today earlier. I  don’t know what is going on. I know depo takes time but i’m concern of why it haven’t come *my period* if i’m not pregnant.

After stopping getting the Depo shot, it will take anywhere from 6 months to 18 months before you get pregnant. Some even longer than that. It varies. It is because your body takes time to adjust and prepare itself for pregnancy. As for the weird symptoms that you said you are experiencing, I suggest that you visit your doctor and have a check up to ensure that you are in good health condition. Good luck!

Conceiving after being on Depo is harder for a lot women than those who have never been on that kind of birth control. Manufacturers of the said birth control say that you could get pregnant 4-6 months from your last shot but one of the reasons that a lot of women have difficulty conceiving is because your body is was used to the hormone Depo was providing to prevent pregnancy. It may take some time for your body to adjust to their normal hormone production. You may boost your fertility by eating right, getting enough rest and avoiding stress, tobacco and excessive alcohol.

With depo provera shot, it will take three to four months to get pregnant after your last shot because it will take time for your body to go back to its normal rhythm. However, for some women it may take up to a year or two to conceive. What we can advise is that, always check you ovulation and make it a chance to have bed with your partner before your ovulation.

Because the effects of Depo Provera may last up to a year, conception may take a longer time. You can improve your chances of getting pregnant soon after your last Depo Provera shot by tracking your ovulation and menstrual cycles, and by taking fertility medications.

I missed my period in March too! It came after I missed a few white birth control pills in early Feb. Then my period came a week earlier… (maybe because i was around a lot of estrogen at a bridal show??)… Feb 28th — and it lasted like 10 days long, super heavy! So I didn’t get a period again until last week. That screws up every cycle calculator I’ve tried. I’m going to try the basal body charting from Conceive Easy’s ttc kit and the ovulation tests.. and see what happens.

Since it has been 5 months from your last Depo Provera shot and you had unprotected sex last month, there is a big possibility that you are pregnant. It is best that you to take a pregnancy test 14 days after the first day you missed your period for more reliable results.

Getting pregnant after your last Depo Provera is already possible as soon as 3 to 4 months. However, its hormonal effects in your body can prevent you from getting pregnant up to 2 years after your last Depo shot. It is best that you take fertility medications such as Vitex and Clomid to help regulate your hormones and improve your likelihood of getting pregnant soon after your last shot.

Getting pregnant after Depo Provera is already possible as soon as 3 to 4 months after your last Depo shot. However; its hormonal effects to your body may prevent you from conceiving after two months. After taking your Depo shot, it is important that you undergo natural hormonal therapies to improve your chances of conceiving soon.

Yes, there is a good probability that you might already be ovulating regularly. With this, it is best that you closely monitor your cycles and increase your sexual activity during your fertile period in order for you to improve your chances of getting pregnant soon.
Taking fertility supplements would greatly help as well.

Given that your hormonal levels seem fine, you can try to conceive anytime. However; it is important that you regulate your periods first in order for you to increase your chances of conception soon. With this, it is best that you take birth control pills for at least to months to help regulate your periods. Once your menstrual periods are properly regulated, you can easily conceive.
